I’ve written before about great vegan lube options. So much, in fact, it may seem like talking about lube is a preferred past time of mine. Well, here I go again, because Sustain (the company behind these great vegan condom ads) has unrolled a new line of vegan lube, just in time for summer.
This organic lube comes in unscented and lavender, with cute, easy-to-use squeeze tubes to minimize bedside fumbling.
In addition to being vegan, cruelty-free and 95 percent organic, Sustain’s sticky stuff is void of four common lube ingredients that no one should ever rub on their genitals.
These perpetrators are: propylene glycol, also found in brake fluid; methylparabens and propylparabens, hard-to-pronounce preservatives linked to breast cancer tumors; polyethylene glycol, a thickener that can cause central nervous system damage; and glycerin, a sugar alcohol that can cause yeast infections. Yum.
Sustain’s co-founder, Meika Hollender (who started the company with her father, of all people!) was recently named one of Mic’s 50 most innovative and forward leaders of 2015. Not a shabby title to pull in for creating your own eco-friendly personal product empire at 27.
So, have you checked this lube out yet?
